The mission of LegacyCreators and the Federal TRiO Programs (i.e. Upward Bound, Student Support Services, Talent Search, and GEAR UP) are consistent based on the fact both programs support students from challenging socio-economic circumstances and first generation college students as a means to promote and assist their progress through the Academic Pipeline from Middle School to High School to College to Post Baccalaureate Endeavors in the form of Graduate School or a Career.
The LegacyCreators GEAR UP Strategy is to Partner with Colleges, Universities, School Districts and Community Partners to Create Middle School and High School Cohorts to Help Students Win!

The LegacyCreators TRiO Gear Up Strategy is to participate as one of the two required community organizations in a TRiO GEAR UP partnership grant that requires; 1) a degree granting College or University and 2) a School District per the terms and conditions of the grant. GEAR UP is designed to increase the number of students at high poverty middle and high schools who are prepared to enter and succeed in college by serving an entire cohort of students beginning no later than seventh grade and follow the cohort through high school. GEAR UP funds are also used to provide college scholarships to low-income students.

The Comprehensive and Global LegacyCreators TRiO Strategy consists of partnering with Colleges, Universities, School Districts and Community Partners to assist and support the academic endeavors of first generation and socio-economically challenged students in middle school, high school and college. LegacyCreators' goal is to work with middle schools, high schools, community partners, colleges, and universities to support numerous TRiO Programs to include but will not be limited to; Upward Bound, Student Support Services , Talent Search, and GEAR UP.
