Horace Allen has worked primarily at Title I middle schools and high schools in his role as a classroom teacher. Through the implementation of the LegacyCreators Roadmap to Success, Horace Allen facilitated successful outcomes during his three years at Morningside Middle School (CCSD), one year at North Charleston High School (CCSD), and three years at South Garner High School (WCPSS).
South Garner High School was a Title I High School within the Wake County Public School System from its inception in the Fall of 2018 to June 2025. South Garner High School is the intersection of urban and rural poverty consisting of urban legacy housing projects and Section 8 housing in the southeastern geography of Raleigh, North Carolina and rural trailer parks and low income housing in Garner, North Carolina.
